PowerAgent Performance Study Confirms Comparable Mainframe Results
Irvine, CA, July 30, 2008 – Envision Financial Systems, Inc., a leading provider of reliable and open technology solutions to the mutual fund transfer agency industry today announced the publication of a performance study completed at the Hewlett Packard Cupertino test facility. The results of the performance test confirm PowerAgent, a shareholder accounting system, performs comparably to mainframe based technology with the added benefit of technological flexibility and customer control.
Envision undertook testing its PowerAgent shareholder accounting system on databases containing over 33 million shareholder accounts. The performance test was developed in conjunction with one if its clients and conducted at the Hewlett Packard Cupertino testing facility. The test was designed to determine the response times that reliably are obtained during routine daily activities such as shareholders accessing their accounts via the web while simultaneously having back-office functions performed.

Envision tested PowerAgent version 6.1 with 1,200 simultaneous virtual users accessing a single shareholder account database of over 33 million sub-accounts, with response times under a second. Other performance tests performed on PowerAgent include the processing of NSCC transactions, the posting of multi-million purchase, redemption and exchange transactions and dividend distributions.
