From: Operation Management
February 1, 2004
Envision Financial Systems has moved its East Coast operations center to a new facility where it can offer training to clients. Thomas Wiedecker , chief operating officer, said the office will remain in Owings Mills, Md., but moved to accommodate staff growth, support client interaction, training and upgrading of the technical infrastructure.
The office is looking to bring aboard more business analysts and client support staff and may add positions in Maryland, California or its India offices. "We have outgrown our current space," he said. "We need room for current staff and future growth, we've also added a training room so we can start to offer more formal onsite training for training customers. Most of the training before was always done at the client site," he said, adding that Envision has held training sessions at annual user conferences. The plan is to formalize training programs and offer them to customers on a regular basis.
